Where should we go next? I don't know about you but we say that every single time we return home from a trip!

Usually, after going through the vacation blues (which is definitely a real thing!) and resting for a couple of days, we go back to reality (aka work). But not long after that, the commute, the stress and the daily routine start to take a toll and the travel bug becomes harder and harder to ignore.

So we start planning our next trip. As my wife is very detail-oriented and I tend to hope for the best but prepare for the worst, planning our longer trips is usually something that requires a lot of reading, googling (how did people do this before the internet??) and, most of the times, compromising.

After years of planning trips, short and long, and many mistakes (and wow, did we make a lot of those!), we try to be better prepared for next time. And this is how our blog began to take shape!

With this blog, we aim to create a space where we can share our adventures and what we've learned from them and, hopefully, offer some tips and tricks that you may find useful for your own travel plans.
